About colibri pediatrics

Dr. Angelo Del Re is originally from the East Coast, but has called North County San Diego his home now for nearly a decade. He has practiced the art of caring for the medical, nutritional and psychological needs of children both in general pediatrics as well as at Rady Children’s Emergency Department.

With a background in biology and neuroscience, Dr. Del Re understands that children are much more than just “little adults”. He pays a particular interest in the unique complexities that require children to be carefully treated.

Dr. Del Re has a particular interest in the nutritional needs of children and focuses on preventative medicine to keep kids living their best lives. He is also experienced and passionate about being available to care for his little patients when they become ill or get hurt and need him the most.  Access to healthcare can be a challenge at times, which is why Colibri Pediatrics was born.
